The Hague Central Station

Spatial intervention inside the central station in The Hague. Organize the disorganized to sort out order inside a hectic space.

Forest in the nature filters the sunlight and creates a calm and isolated space from the chaos.

Central station in the Hague is a hectic space with travelers. My aim is to make use of the sorting and filtering function of a forest to design a “forest” in a train station to organize the chaos and provide functional spaces for different groups of people. Considering the location which is closed to the National Royal Library of the Netherlands, the program includes a self-service library within the floors of the intervention.
